So I exhort the elders...shepherd the flock of God that is among you, exercising oversight, not under compulsion, but willingly, as God would have you; not for shameful gain, but eagerly; not domineering over those in your charge, but being examples to the flock.
— 1 Peter 5:1-3

Elders

Tyler Daniels Lead Pastor & Elder

Tyler and Mindy Daniels met in college, married as soon as possible, and have made a life of ministering together. They have come to Floyd County and Sojourn Church with a Spirit-led hope--discipling growing families, serving neighbors in need, and sharing the truth of God’s Word. Along with their twin daughters, they enjoy books (and places books are found), Mexican food, and the joy of life together in community.

Community Group Leaders

Our community groups are a vital part of Sojourn. The Christian life isn’t just for Sundays: it’s every day—at home and at work, in our neighborhoods with our families, and anywhere we meet coworkers and neighbors and friends. Community groups are where sermons, singing, prayer and fellowship intersects life. Connect, and let’s go together.

Ministry Team Leaders

Our ministry teams are what make the Sunday Gathering happen. Ministry Team leaders organize volunteer ministries and lead Sojourn’s servants to serve with faithfulness, excellence, and gladness.
